A pharmaceutical article recently stated that optimists fare better in adversity. Optimism is associated with better physical health. Now there is evidence suggesting that a positive outlook may mean you're less likely to get sick. When optimistic people were under stress, their immune system seemed to kick in, which could possibly protect them from becoming ill.

 

So, let us remember our glass is half full not half empty. A favorite Psalm, which helps during the time of stress, is the 119th, which tells us to praise and thank Yah often. When we count our blessings, how can we be pessimistic?
